We want you to wear your Junk Republic garments everywhere and tell all of your friends and family just how much you love our products. We want you to also be part of our family and for that reason we have introduced the Love Your Junk Guarantee.
So how does it work?

The first time you order from a new store can be nerve-wrecking.

  • Will my order arrive on time?
  • Will the products look like they do in the pictures?
  • Will the garments fit me or suit my style /body shape /skin tone?
  • Will I like the fabric?

Well, fear no more! As part of our mission for second-to-none Customer Love, we want to provide you with customer experience that puts our money where our mouth is and offer you a guarantee that makes it easy to say yes. A guarantee to show my commitment to your happiness.

So let’s break that down. If your product arrives and it’s the wrong size or you prefer it in a different colour we will exchange the item for you. Once your replacement arrives and if you are still not satisfied with our product/s send us an email to customerlove@junkrepublic.com.au and we will arrange for a refund.

We do ask that you provide us with very detailed feedback on what’s not working for you in order to support us in improving our products. As an Australian made self funded start up we value your feedback and input into our product development. Your feedback is VERY valuable to us. In fact it’s like gold!

We want you to be happy with your purchase and wear our products everywhere. For this reason we offer a number of options:

INCORRECT SIZE:

Bought something in the incorrect size? Send it back within 14 calendar days from date of delivery within Australia and 21 calendar days if located outside of Australia and we will send you a replacement free of charge. You are responsible for getting the garment back to us and we will cover the postage of the replacement.

WRONG COLOUR:

Bought something in the wrong colour? Colour doesn’t suit your skin tone? No worries. We will swap the garment for the same print but in a different colour. Send it back within 14 calendar days from date of delivery within Australia and 21 calendar days if located outside of Australia and we will send you a replacement free of charge. You are responsible for getting the garment back to us and we will cover the postage of the replacement.

 

All garments must be in their original condition, unworn with the tags attached, in a new and saleable condition. Your replacement item/s will be sent once the original item/s are received and processed.


In the unlikely event that you are sent the incorrect item due to our error, eg: the order does not match the items provided, we will replace the item for you and cover the postage costs both ways – for you to send the item back to us and for us to send the replacement. We will arrange our courier to pick up the item from you and deliver a replacement once the original item is returned and processed.

In the unlikely event that you are still unhappy after receiving your replacement garments, we will provide you with a full refund.

Yes that’s right! We stand behind our products and as such once your replacement arrives and if you are still not satisfied send us an email to customerlove@junkrepublic.com.au and we will arrange for a refund.

 

Please include the following information with your email:

  • Full name
  • Order number
  • Details of dissatisfaction: eg: fit, style of garment, colour, fabric, product description or anything else

We strongly recommend you get proof of postage (it’s free!). If you leverage Sendle to return your parcels to us, we will be notified and your delivery will be visible in our dashboard speeding up the exchange process.

HYGIENE STANDARDS

Some items can’t be returned, like swimwear where a hygiene strip or seal has been removed. Please check product descriptions before you order. If you want to return swimwear or any items marked with a ‘+’ next to the product name, please do not remove the original wrapping/seal for hygiene reasons.

 

ORIGINAL CONDITION

Of course, it’s fine to try an item on like you would in a shop, but please don’t actually wear it. If an item is returned to us damaged, worn or in an unsuitable condition, we won’t be able to give you a refund and we may have to send it back to you (and ask you to cover the delivery costs). All items are inspected on return. All returned items should be sent in their original condition and packaging where possible, including tags.

 

FAIR USE

If we notice an unusual pattern of returns activity that doesn’t sit right: e.g. we suspect someone is actually wearing their purchases and then returning them or ordering and returning a lot – way more than even the most loyal Junk Republic customer would order – then we might have to deactivate the account and any associated accounts. If this happens to you and you think we’ve made a mistake, please get in touch with our Customer Love Team and we’ll be happy to discuss it with you.

This doesn’t affect your statutory rights.

Our goods may come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You may be entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You also may be entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

If you think that there is a fault with the goods you have received, please let us know straight away by contacting our Customer Love Team. Please include as many details as possible about the order and the problem with the goods.
